Operations
What is the process like each week when you scoop dog poop?
At Bark and Scoop we have a set service day. On that day, we’ll text you when we’re next on our route and when the service is complete. You’ll receive a picture of your locked gate for peace of mind.
Do I need to be home for you to do a dog poop pickup service?
No, you do not need to be home for us to perform our service. Furthermore understand that our customers have busy schedules, so we can operate independently. However, please ensure that we have access to your yard on the scheduled service day. If you have specific instructions or preferences regarding access to certain areas, please let us know, and we’ll accommodate accordingly. Your convenience and satisfaction are our priorities.
What about leaves and snow hiding waste during my dog poop pickup?
Although we make every effort to thoroughly clean all yards, leaves and snow can obscure some waste. We ask that you keep your yard clear, and if not understand that there is a possibility that some waste will be obscured, and in turn may be overlooked by our dedicated crew.
Do you take the dog poop with you?
Yes, we take the waste with us after we scoop dog poop and do any other pickup service. Our team ensures to leave your yard clean and free of any mess.
What is your service area?

What frequency do you schedule recurring cleans?
We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly collection options.
What about bad weather?
We are committed to providing reliable service regardless of the weather conditions. In cases of inclement weather, such as rain or light snow, we continue to service properties as scheduled. However, in cases of extreme weather conditions that pose safety risks for our team, such as heavy storms or severe cold, we may need to postpone service to the next available day.
Billing
Is there a contract for dog poop pickup?
No, there is no contract required for our services. We believe in simplicity and transparency, so we offer simple billing with no long-term commitments. As a result each month is billed in advance for your convenience. If, for any reason, you need to cancel our service, you can do so by contacting us directly. We strive to make our services flexible and hassle-free for our customers.

Is there a charge if we forget to unlock our gate?
The first time this happens, there’s no extra charge, and we’ll try to adjust our routes. If it occurs again, despite our efforts, the service will be charged as scheduled, even if we can’t access your property.
